This program offers undergraduate students the opportunity to:
|

|
- Carry out an independent research project
- Work closely with a faculty advisor and research group
- Develop laboratory skills
- Explore issues of science ethics
- Exchange ideas with students and faculty at weekly seminars
- Participate in field trips in and around Boston Harbor
|

Program Dates: June 9 to Aug. 15, 2008 (Start and end dates may be adjusted by individual prior arrangement)

Location: The campus is south of downtown on a peninsula extending into scenic Boston Harbor
|
| |
Stipend: Participants receive $4200, plus a room and board allowance of $2500.
(Additional funds are available to subsidize travel costs.)

| |
Eligibility: Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents. Applicants must be undergraduate students and must have completed at least 1 semester of biology.
