Research Experiences for Undergraduates in Integrative
and Evolutionary Biology summer 2008

This program offers undergraduate students the opportunity to:

   
  • Carry out an independent research project
  • Work closely with a faculty advisor and research group
  • Develop laboratory skills
  • Explore issues of science ethics
  • Exchange ideas with students and faculty at weekly seminars
  • Participate in field trips in and around Boston Harbor

Program Dates: June 9 to Aug. 15, 2008 (Start and end dates may be adjusted by individual prior arrangement)

 

Location: The campus is south of downtown on a peninsula extending into scenic Boston Harbor

 

Stipend: Participants receive $4200, plus a room and board allowance of $2500.

(Additional funds are available to subsidize travel costs.)

 

Eligibility: Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents. Applicants must be undergraduate students and must have completed at least 1 semester of biology.
