Administrative Experience

(a) Biology Department Coordinator at Huntington Campus of UMB

From January 1982 through August 1983, served as Biology Department Coordinator at the Huntington Campus. In that capacity, oversaw the daily operation and management of the Biology Department there.

(b) Biology; Department Director of Undergraduate Advising (AKA Chair of Advising Committee) 1990-

Oversee all aspects of the advising process for our 450+ majors, from setting up the registration process, the evaluation of student transfer credits, the granting of course waivers, the review of student transcripts for graduation, to evaluating transfer biology credit for certain incoming non-biology transfer students, for purpose obtaining science core credit, etc., etc.; serve as liaison between the Biology Department and the Office of Admissions and the Registrar, and the Nursing and Exercise Science Programs.
